This course will use Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW). This course will also cover the safe use of oxyfuel and plasma arc cutting on non-ferrous metals. Begins with the safe operation and use of basic metal heating and cutting equipment. Also covers the basic fit-up and weld-off techniques with fillet and groove welds in all six positions (1F/1G, 2F/2G, 3F/3G, 4F/4G, 5G, and 6G).
